OUR STORY
Custard Space is the brainchild of its founder Matt King. In 2014, he had a vision to create something that was unique and different in the world of woodworking and bespoke furniture. He wanted to take his approach to crafting beautiful pieces to another dimension - quite literally! That's where the name “Custard Space” comes from; inspired by a fantastical novel where custard space was an alternative universe. The name alone though was not enough to capture people’s attention and spark their curiosity. But as more and more clients began working with Custard Space, they quickly realised that there was so much substance behind the catchy moniker. With an unbeatable eye for design and an unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship, Matt built up a team of exceptional craftsman who could transform any space into something truly breathtaking.

We needed a solution in our small spare bedroom to maximise storage area. Matt custom-built a unit that included a wardrobe, cupboards and shelving all fitting the angled ceiling space perfectly and utilising every spare inch.
